Failure to diagnose fault on vehicle, overcharging, unnecessary work carried out

initially contacted rushworths as had used the company once before explaining that we had a leak on our vehicle and faulty rear brakes. Took the car to rushworths and was told that the crank oil seal needed replacing. The work was carried out and a new seal had been fitted plus the rear brakes had been cleaned out and adjusted. I collected the car and when I got home noticed a damp patch on the drive a little later on when the vehicle was moved. Also, the rear brakes were still faulty as the car would be parked on a hill and roll forward despite being told that the brakes had been adjusted and cleaned. Contacted rushworths the same day only to be told that we should take it back to have it checked over. When the car had been checked we were informed that the rear shoes needed replacing so why was this not detected the day before and checked on the rolling road as i had already paid £75 for labour and £15 for a new seal and brake cleaner. The new shoes were fitted straight away and i asked if the leak from the engine could be investigated further. I was told that there was no leak and that that was the end of it. I drove the vehicle home after spending a further £45 to have the shoes replaced. Once the vehicle was at home on the drive AGAIN another leak patch was noticed. I contacted rushworths again only to be told that there was no leak when blatently they had missed a leak coming from the water pump. I took the car to another mechanic who within a matter of minutes confirmed that there was a leak on the water pump dripping onto the fan belt then onto the tray then out onto the floor. There are no oil leaks or marks on my drive as the leak was water water water. I now am awaiting a replacement water pump and to say that I am very dissapointed in rushworths would be an understatement and will never recommend or use this garage again. Overcharged, incorrect work carried out, unnecessary labour parts and cost, failure to detect mechanical fault/s, rip off merchants and HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS PEOPLE
